Growing up as one of the only Anglophones in a series of Francophone schools on the North Shore of Montréal, Caeli was destined to become a translator, or at least, that’s what everyone always told her. It wasn’t until her quarter-life crisis, when she chewed over what career path to follow, that she finally decided to take a stab at translation. With a passion rooted in the arts and a surprising agility with numbers, she found that languages satisfied her craving for both creativity and logic (think grammar). Caeli received her bachelor’s degree from Concordia University’s French-English translation specialization program with a minor in Spanish translation. Her hobbies include baking, changing the colour of her hair and petting her cat, Professor Fancy.
